As I am getting ready for classes this fall, I have been playing around with the latest version of Photoshop. It is one really powerful tool. Although both a strong personal vision and a high quality image captured in camera are still critical, one can do a lot to actualize creative intent and outright fudge an image in post. In the above image I played around a little with a lens tilt-shift feature while editing. In a place of such grandeur as Yosemite, I find it interesting to play with the perception of scale. I found the tilt-shift to also draw attention to Bridalveil Falls, where I want the eye to go.
