Camp Dunn

Camp Dunn is a rather special event that takes place around this time every summer. Tons of people come together from around the world to the Dunn family farm in New Hampshire. 'Campers' arrive expecting to be put to work constructing or cooking or doing whatever needs to be done; to play; to eat amazing food around one very long table. I took this photograph on the final night, after an enchanting production of the Lion King.

The Second String Band

The Second String Band in Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Passing through Rotterdam, I spent an evening with the D.C. based group, The Second String Band. These talented and photogenic musicians put on a great show in Rotterdam before carrying on to the U.K. You can follow their European tour on their website, http://2ndstringband.com/.

Illustrating the Iliad

While on a recent visit to the island Paros, I had the distinct privilege of helping my teacher and friend, Jane Morris Pack, install her show of prints. Since I have known Jane, for about five years, she has held the idea of illustrating Homer’s Iliad. Alas, she has completed a wonderful body of monotypes and paintings revolving around this theme. After several days flurrying with activity the show was up and looked spectacular. If you would like to see the work or purchase an image or book, visit http://www.janemorrispack.com.
