I was even a student in his Sociology of Knowledge class. Now he is teaching me lessons on Being Present, on Time, Memory, Attachment and even Courage. He is succumbing to Alzheimer’s. This diptych is an attempt at conveying how it is for me to watch him through this stage of his life. By no means is it easy.
